Crankk: Multimining Solution

Crankk multimining solution with IoT devices

What is Crankk?

Crankk is a groundbreaking network of LoRa gateway nodes regulated by Kadena’s Layer 1 Pact smart contracts. Built on Kadena, Crankk integrates real-world events into blockchain technology and smart contracts, aiming to establish a comprehensive LoRaWAN network. This network provides extensive coverage for IoT devices such as smart meters and GPS trackers.

The Crankk token (CRKK) is central to this ecosystem. Node operators earn Crankk tokens by participating in the network and periodically proving their coverage area. This distributed network leverages Kadena’s Proof of Work (PoW) network, enhancing the utility of existing ecosystems in IoT applications with proven reliability, speed, and resilience.

How Do I Earn Crankk Tokens?

Earning Crankk tokens (CRKK) is straightforward for those who set up a Crankk node and provide LoRaWAN network coverage. Coverage is tested every four hours with a “Proof of Coverage” check using Kadena smart contracts. Participants are rewarded based on their network activity and contribution.

What is the Crankk License?

The Crankk license is a software license essential for onboarding your LoRaWAN gateway device onto the Crankk network. The cost of a Crankk license is $150, payable in Kadena (KDA) tokens.

How to Mine Crankk?

To start mining Crankk, you need a hotspot gateway device, a Kadena wallet, a Crankk license, and a stake of Crankk tokens. Here are the steps:

  1. Get a Hotspot Gateway Device: Ensure you have a compatible device.
  2. Create a Kadena Wallet: I recommend using the Ecko Wallet.
  3. Buy a Crankk License: Purchase the license for $150 in KDA tokens on dashboard.crankk.io.
  4. Setup Your Device: Follow Crankk’s guides for device setup.
  5. Stake Crankk Tokens: Stake $100 worth of Crankk tokens on dashboard.crankk.io.

Which Crankk Wallet Can I Use?

The Ecko Wallet, a free Kadena web browser wallet, is ideal for transferring KDA in and out of your Crankk wallets on dashboard.crankk.io.
